About the World of Nero and the Artist

Nero is a vast and living world, shaped as much by its people as by the forces that move beyond their understanding.

At first glance, it bears resemblance to other known realms—its skies breathe air, its oceans stretch wide and deep, and its lands turn through cycles of light and darkness. Yet beneath this familiarity lies a world marked by quiet anomalies and ancient disturbances, many of which remain unexplained.

Across its surface, civilizations have risen, fractured, and endured. Humans, fae, dragon-kin, orcs, goblins, and countless other races inhabit its regions, each shaped by the environments they call home.

Nero is structured around a primary central continent, surrounded by additional landmasses and scattered island chains that support trade and travel. Much of the known history of recent events is tied to this central land, where the balance of power continues to shift.

The terrain is diverse and often unforgiving. Coastal settlements give way to dense forests, which in turn rise toward mountainous and frozen regions in the north. Beneath the surface, ancient pathways and forgotten structures hint at a history far older than recorded memory.
